Lip shape and definition
Lip enhancement that respects your natural proportions
Lip filler can be considered for definition, symmetry, proportion or age-related volume change. Dr Karen assesses the lips in relation to the whole face and recommends only the degree of change that appears balanced and appropriate.
The consultation considers
- Current shape and asymmetry
- Dental and facial proportions
- Previous filler
- Scarring, cold sores and medical history
- The difference between hydration, definition and volume
A proportionate objective
The aim is not to impose a fashionable shape. Natural facial balance, individual anatomy and a result that still feels like you come first.
The GP-led difference
Medical judgement before treatment
Dr Karen reviews your health, medicines, previous procedures, facial anatomy and expectations. Treatment is recommended only when she considers it suitable and proportionate.
Important safety information
Temporary swelling, bruising and tenderness are common. Infection, lumps, asymmetry and vascular complications are less common but important risks that are discussed before treatment.
Consultation
Begin with a considered conversation
A consultation is an opportunity to understand suitability, alternatives, likely outcomes, risks and costs. It does not commit you to treatment.
